Exciting news for 2008! The Silver Quill Program will be part of the Pacific Plains Region Exchange!
The dates have been set and the host city selected! Seattle will host the inaugural Pacific Plains Region Exchange September 21-23, 2008! The Silver Quill Awards Program is moving to be part of this exceptional program. Expect the Call for Entries for the 2008 Awards to be available in May 2008. The 2008 Pacific Plains Region Silver Quill Awards program is being
incorporated into Exchange activities. With the Silver Quill program
moving later in the year, you will have the added bonus of an extended
time-frame for eligible projects to submit this year. Please stay tuned to

Entering the Silver Quill Awards Program helps all of the entrants:
- Demonstrate the value of strategic, quality communication to your management or clients.
- Build credibility and support from within your organization and with clients.
- Obtain feedback from experienced communication professionals.
- Get recognized among your peers. Winners are posted on the Pacific Plains Region website and in chapter newsletters. Also, winners are recognized at a special reception during IABC’s International Conference.
- Take a step toward accreditation. Entries can be easily repurposed for accreditation portfolio samples.
The Pacific Plains Silver Quill competition reaches out to communicators in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming and elsewhere.
