Steve Kuyatt, Deputy Director
Steve is founder and principal of SJK Communications, a small firm specializing in public relations and communications for high tech and medical clients. He has more than 15 years of experience in the communications field having worked for international companies handling everything from brand management, media and investor relations, to marketing and internal communications. An IABC member since 1995 and has been involved in local and regional leadership since joining. He is a member of the Oregon Columbia IABC chapter, where he has served as president, vice president of professional development, community and education relations and awards. He has served on the Pacific Plains Board for the past two years initially as a Chapter Advocate and currently the Director of Communications. Steve has a B.S. in Mass Communications specializing in Public Relations from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT. Steve is a graduate of Leadership Clark County, and is an active volunteer with his home owner’s association and church.
