Annette Tait, ABC, Chapter Advocate

Annette currently works for the North Dakota Department of  Transportation as a Public Transit Programs Specialist where she oversees multiple communication and financial functions and helps to create and implement clear, concise processes and procedures for procurement, contract amendment, and data collection methodology and is helping to improve customer service and customer relations for state transit projects, vendors, and Federal Transit Administration and metropolitan planning organization representatives. She has extensive experience in the areas of transportation, education and public involvement. A member of the Pacific Plains Region Board for the past two years, she is currently a Chapter Advocate.  She has been a member of IABC since 1993. Annette is a member of the Great Plains IABC Chapter where she serves as president. She has served as president-elect, membership chair and chapter secretary. She was active on the board of the former IABC U.S. District 6 as the Director, Members-at-Large. She holds the APR designation with the Public Relations Society of America. She has been recognized with numerous professional rewards.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Mass Communication, Extended Major—with Honors from Montana State University-Billings, Billings, Montana and an Associate of Arts—with Highest Honors American River College, Sacramento, California.
